A weekly ceremony every Sunday morning to raise the casket flag of a Veteran to honor and remember ALL Veterans, held at the Lou Booth Amphitheater at 2nd and Ocean Avenues in North Wildwood. Arrive 10 minutes before sunrise to participate in a 20-minute tribute and inspirational message at the most beautiful vista on the Jersey Shore. This location offers photo ops galore! The Flag Raising Ceremony is weather permitting as Veteran Casket Flags are not for all-weather. The City of Wildwood, in conjunction with the Wildwood Business Improvement District, will hold a solemn 9/11 memorial ceremony on September 11th at 1 p.m. The event will take place at Byrne Plaza located at Oak and Pacific Avenues in Downtown Wildwood. Pastors from local churches, members of the Wildwood Fire and Police Departments, and students from the Wildwood schools will be participating in the ceremony. Annual event. Registration is held at the Gazebo at 3rd & JFK Blvd. in North Wildwood. Participation fee is $15. Tournament takes place on Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. Prizes will be awarded at noon on Sunday for adult and youth divisions.  9/13   9/13    Your First Mud Run 
Your First Mud Run is the ONLY mud run in the country designed so both parents and kids can run together. Our courses are the perfect “first timer” event! Anyone 5 years old and up can participate in the fun! We are the largest “family friendly” and “first timer” Mud Run in the country! The course is two loops that totals two miles. The race will feature approximately 10 – 14 obstacles. This is the most family friendly mud run in the country! And don’t forget that you can use our event as a fundraiser. We have the best mud run fundraiser system in the country where ANY CHARITY can raise money with our race. Any school, boy scout troop, girl scout troop, team, business, gymnastics club or any other organization can also use our great event as a fundraiser.  9/17   9/19    New Jersey State Firemen's Convention and Parade 
Annual Convention of the New Jersey State Firemen and Life Members at the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring meetings, seminars and business sessions. Firetrucks from around the state will be displayed in the Wildwoods Convention Center parking lots and merchandise vendors can be found across the street at Fox Park. The American Red Cross will host a Blood Drive on Friday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. inside the Convention Center - all are welcome. A special fireworks display will take place Friday night at 9 p.m. on the beach at Pine Avenue and a Firemen's Parade will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. along New Jersey Avenue, from Cresse Avenue in Wildwood Crest, proceeding north to 20th Avenue in North Wildwood. 856.433.0386 or

Take a step back in time! The Fall Boardwalk Classic Car Show takes place every September on the world-famous Wildwoods Boardwalk featuring cars of all makes and models 25 years and older. Hundreds of vehicles will line the boardwalk on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Top 40 cars will be displayed in the turn-around circle in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday from 4-5 p.m. and an awards ceremony will take place on Sunday from 9-10:30 a.m. inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Olde New Jersey Avenueand surrounding pubs, North Wildwood. The largest Irish Festival on the East Coast celebrating Irish heritage with dancing, music, food and craft vendors – 8 AM to 8 PM daily. Bus service available throughout the event dates. Other festivities include a golf tournament, Irish dance lessons, 5K run and 1 mile walk, pipe exhibition, food court, and Catholic Mass. It’s going to be WILD! Event will feature some great guests, artists, vendors, cosplayers and cars at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be tons of comics, funko pops, anime, toys, comic themed craft items, collectibles and so much more. There will also be a cosplay contest, so come on out in your favorite super hero costume, anime character or any character for that matter! Massive bayfront street festival at Sunset Lake from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., followed by live music at 7:30 p.m. with The Chatterband and a fireworks show at 9 p.m. at Centennial Park.  9/30   10/4    'The Race of Gentlemen' Vintage Car & Motorcycle Beach Drag Races 
Spectators and racers alike will experience a simpler time of when guys were gentlemen and cars were king! Over 100 vintage auto (pre-1934) and motorcycles (pre-1947) ~ including Indian, Harley Davidson, Excelcior, Ford, Dodge Brothers and more ~ will compete in an exhibition style beach race at the water's edge between Schellenger and Spicer Avenues in Wildwood. Friday will feature “The Night of the Troglodytes,” a rollicking chopper party set around the area where the weekend’s race vehicles are on display for the delight of the crowd. Saturday gates open at 9 a.m. and will feature vintage auto and motorcycle races from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. with live rock 'n roll all day. A bonfire and beach party will take place on Saturday night from 7 p.m. until midnight, with live rock 'n roll music. More beach racing will take place on Sunday with gates opening at 10 a.m., races from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony, beach party and more rock 'n roll music. No coolers will be permitted on the beach; beverages will be available for sale for your convenience. {Please note that race times may vary depending on ocean tide.} Full weekend passes are available for purchase online and at the door.
